LittleKitchen
I left Shanghai years ago, missing the sweet, rich home cooking from old alleyways. Generic American Chinese food never filled that void, so I opened Little Canteen, an authentic Shanghainese diner right here.
I cook every dish the way my grandma did—braised pork, soup dumplings, crispy sweet shrimp, no over-sugared Western twists. This tiny warm spot is more than a restaurant. It’s a harbor for overseas Chinese chasing hometown flavors, and a window for locals to taste real Shanghai comfort. Every steaming plate carries my longing for home, shared with every guest who walks in.
